夜明け前の窓辺に差し込む薄暗い光が、ジャズ・ファンクのスウィングとシルバーなエレキギターのリフを優しく包み込み、テンポは中速でゆったりとした余韻感がある。 サビへ向かう前に、低音バスドラムと共にシンセサイザーが繰り出す波打つようなハーモニーが流れ、ボーカルの柔らかなコーラスが白昼夢を映すように空間に広がる。特に「White light fades to midnight blue」のフレーズで、コード進行が一瞬だけブルージーに転調し、耳元でのぞむようなリズムの余韻が心地よい。 曲はまるで青磁の器からこぼれ落ちた光のように、静かに夜へと溶けていく。カフェのテラスや雨上がりの小道を散歩しながら聴くと、白い灯りと共に残る一瞬だけの幻想が心に染み渡る。
